A village in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, Mierlo lies between Eindhoven and Helmond. It is quiet and green, with woods and heathland nearby, and the city is never far away.

Renters here are mostly families and couples looking for peace and quiet, and people working in the Eindhoven area who would rather not live in the city. Mierlo has no railway station of its own. The nearest stations are in Geldrop and Helmond, and buses run to Eindhoven and Helmond. Many residents cycle or drive.
